Weekend Evening Bartender Jaudon Public House Belton, MO 64012 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings. Process cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages during events such as banquets. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, and garnishes, and assist in ordering as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings. Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers effectively. Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation is an asset. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively. Sales skills to promote drink specials or upsell menu items when appropriate.
