Restaurant Server/Bartender El Agave Mexican Bar and Grill (Tupelo, MS) 1688 Crescent Meadows Dr, Holly Springs, MS 38635 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by crafting delicious beverages and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for maintaining the bar area, serving drinks, and engaging with customers to create memorable moments. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and upselling drink specials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems. Assist with bussing tables and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the establishment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders. Monitor guest consumption levels and adhere to responsible serving practices. Stay informed about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Qualifications Previous experience in bartending or related roles within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of culinary techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience with cash handling procedures. Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a nightclub or high-energy environment, including late-night shifts.
