Barback Three Thirty One Event Hall 331 South Mound Street, Yazoo City, MS 39194 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. The ideal candidate will support bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in nightlife settings. Duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Assist bartenders with preparing drinks and serving customers as needed. Stock the bar with necessary supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system. Support catering events by setting up and breaking down service areas as required. Buss tables in the bar area to ensure a tidy environment for guests. Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or bartending is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to clean efficiently. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a nightclub setting.
