Smokehouse at Steve’s is looking for positive, energetic, and motivated people to join our front of house team. Responsibilities are simple…be a strong team player, show up on time, and provide exceptional hospitality to our guests. Connected to Steve’s Garden Market and Butchery, Smokehouse at Steve’s offers a one of a kind environment and experience for both our employees and guests. Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
• Handle cash transactions and process payments using TOAST point of sale system
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
• Portion/Serve basic food items such as our house made sides

Skills:

• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to provide excellent hospitality
• Proficient in cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food preparation and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members We offer competitive pay rates (servers start at $4/hour plus tips), flexible scheduling with no late nights (Smokehouse closes at 8 pm nightly and closes at 3pm on Sundays) and opportunities for growth within our organization.
