Bartender/Server Tipsy Tuna Bar and Grill on Oak Island 8520 East Oak Island Drive, Oak Island, NC 28465 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will prepare and serve beverages, ensure an exceptional customer experience, and maintain a clean, organized bar area. This role requires multitasking to make drinks for servers, attend to bar patrons, and occasionally assist in other areas of the restaurant. Flexibility, teamwork, and a friendly attitude are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Multitask effectively to prepare drinks for servers while tending to bar guests. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and completing end-of-day tasks. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings. Familiarity with using POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payment handling. Excellent customer service skills and communication skills. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
