This part-time position involves tending a community campfire, serving beer, wine, and snacks from our outdoor bar, and fostering a friendly, relaxed atmosphere during guest events and weekend evenings. Ideal candidates are personable, reliable, and comfortable working in an outdoor setting with light food and beverage service responsibilities.

Job Duties Firetending and Guest Engagement:

Maintain and monitor the community campfire, ensuring a safe, well-lit, and inviting environment. Interact warmly with guests, answering questions and encouraging conversation around the fire.

Outdoor Bar Service:

Serve beer, wine, and packaged snacks to guests in accordance with local alcohol service regulations. Operate a simple outdoor bar setup, including light prep, restocking, and cleanup. Check IDs to verify legal drinking age when required.

General Responsibilities:

Keep the outdoor bar area clean, stocked, and presentable. Follow all safety guidelines related to alcohol service, fire safety, and guest interaction. Support event preparation or teardown if needed. Skills & Qualifications Prior bar, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred. Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, guest-first attitude. Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision. Must be 21+ and eligible to serve alcohol in North Carolina. Weekend and evening availability required. Hours will increase around scheduled events.
