Bartender/Server The City Tap 89 Hillsboro Street, Pittsboro, NC 27312 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in mixed drinks, customer service, and hospitality will be essential in providing exceptional service at our nightclub and restaurant. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Process orders efficiently using the Toast POS system or other point-of-sale systems. Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Uphold safety and health regulations while serving drinks. Skills Proficient in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems (Aloha POS experience is a plus). Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests effectively. Previous experience in hospitality, sales, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred. Knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation techniques.
