South Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Operate cash registers and process payments accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while serving food items when necessary. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and assistance to enhance their experience. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service. Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or special functions, ensuring all supplies are ready for service. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management as required. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
