Server/Bartender Pomodoro’s Italian Cafe Mooresville, NC 28117 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server with bar experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who would be willing to work day shifts through the weekend with possibly one through the week, as well as some nights. We are planning to open back up on Monday nights so this would be a mandatory shift. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences, when needed to fill in on the bar Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment. Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders and managing cash handling efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in food service as needed, ensuring that food handling procedures are followed safely. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers at the bar. Skills knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage preparation. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and helping guests feel welcome. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Familiarity with food service operations and food handling safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
