Bartender Job Definition:

Bartenders will assist guests by taking beverage and food orders, serving items, maintaining guest satisfaction, and processing payments.

Duties & Tasks:

Serve alcoholic beverages and food courses to guests Knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and cocktail compositions Ability to multi-task in a busy environment Exceptional customer care and attention to detail Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment including cleaning requirements. Use equipment only as intended. Answer questions on alcoholic selections/menus to guests Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes in outlet assigned. Record transaction in POS system at time of order.

Requirements:

Previous experience bartending in upscale bar or hotel preferred Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Able to handle service and stay organized in a busy restaurant Quality driven with a passion for excellence. Approachable, open-minded, energetic and fair

Physical Requirements:
