Main Street, Highlands, NC 28741 We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Manager(s) to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidates will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of bar/barista operations. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties Manage and lead front-of-house staff Requirements and Skills Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures Ensure a welcoming and clean front-of-house area for guests Monitor and manage ticket times to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Provide regular oversight to ensure compliance with established Mountain Fresh Grocery policies, procedures related to employee meals, breaks, and discounts, etc. Assist with food quality control to identify deviations from established Mountain Fresh Grocery food quality and specs Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally, always following established policies and procedures and consulting with senior management on difficult issues Assist in training and onboarding new front-of-house staff Perform the duties of every position on a regular basis as needed to ensure good service and wait times at the bar, registers, etc. Develop the weekly front-of-house schedule and daily assignment/deployment Assist with counting drawers and processing/compiling daily cash deposits Proven experience in a front-of-house management role in the hospitality industry Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service best practices, and point-of-sale systems Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed High level of integrity and professionalism Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Requirements Previous experience in the food industry is required, particularly in customer service roles. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in fine dining settings is a plus but not mandatory. Bartending or barista experience. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
