Bartender Miku Japanese Restaurant 8129 Ardrey Kell Road, Charlotte, NC 28277 Miku Asian Kitchen & Bar is looking for an experienced bartender. Previous experience in a full-service restaurant a must. Compensation includes hourly pay plus tips. Responsibilities Ability to make classic and crafted signature cocktails consistently and efficiently Interact with guests, take orders, upsell and serve food and drinks Check guest’s identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations Check and replenish bar inventory, garnishes and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Maintain bar cleanliness and organization Requirements High School Diploma (required) Minimum age requirement of 21 years Resume and proven working experience as a mixologist Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving crafted cocktails Computer literacy Positive attitude, team player, service-oriented and excellent communication skills Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments Working knowledge of bar equipment Numeracy and cash-handling skills Able to work flexible schedules Able to work in a standing position for long periods Be able to reach and bend and frequently lift up to 30 pounds’
