Henrietta’s , a concept under the Rally umbrella, is a cozy neighborhood restaurant in Charlotte’s Lower South End. Created in partnership with Chef Andres Kaifer of Custom Shop, Henrietta’s is known for seasonal dishes crafted with local ingredients, paired with a thoughtful beverage program designed to elevate the dining experience. We believe in creating moments of connection—through food, drink, and a warm, intentional atmosphere.
Position Overview:
At Henrietta’s, Bartenders are both craftspeople and hosts—delivering beautifully balanced cocktails, expertly poured wine, and warm, genuine hospitality. This role blends technical skill with a guest-focused mindset: you’re not just making drinks; you’re setting the tone for the experience and exemplifying our Purpose to be a Catalyst for Connection. You’ll be expected to bring deep knowledge of spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation, as well as curiosity about ingredients and service nuance. Responsibilities and Duties:
Create and serve a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Henrietta’s recipes and standards Maintain a polished and organized bar setup, restocking as needed throughout service Accurately input and process drink orders from both guests and service staff Provide pairing recommendations and speak confidently about our spirits, wines, and seasonal ingredients Ensure consistency in drink presentation, taste, and pacing Comply with all sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service protocols Maintain a clean and composed bar station at all times Foster genuine connections with guests while supporting efficient flow of service Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely and elevated guest experiences Follow all venue policies and complete additional duties as assigned Deliver attentive and knowledgeable food service to guests seated at the bar and in the adjacent bar section, ensuring the experience reflects the same elevated hospitality and menu fluency as the dining room. Have a refined understanding of cocktails, wine, and bar technique Be enthusiastic about creating beautiful drinks and meaningful interactions Communicate with warmth, clarity, and professionalism Stay calm and composed during peak service hours Embrace both structure and creativity, balancing standards with personal style Be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to cleanliness Hold or obtain required alcohol service certifications Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Be able to stand for the duration of a shift and lift up to 40 pounds

While performing the duties of this job, Bartenders are regularly required to: Stand and move behind the bar for the entirety of a shift Lift and carry items up to 40 pounds (e.g., kegs, bar supplies, boxes) Reach, bend, and perform repetitive motions such as pouring, shaking, tapping, and polishing Communicate clearly in a lively, energetic environment Work with cleaning agents and hot/cold equipment Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays Henrietta’s is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible workplace.
