Bartender Moon Thai & Japanese Charlotte 4425 Sharon Road, Charlotte, NC 28211 This is a high-end restaurant. The Bar cocktail and wine list is comparable to anyone on Restaurant Row here in South Park. The Bar Manager has created Michelin Star rated bar menus in the past, and this is one you’ll want to work with. Located next door to the top steakhouse in Charlotte, we have an awesome clientele. This recession hasn’t affected the wealthy, so change your surroundings and start making money! Looking to train bar-backs also.
SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Takes orders from Guest Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serves wine and draught or bottled beer. Collects money for drinks served. Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies. Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display. Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks. Stock and re-stock liquor, wine, sake, and garnishes

- Must have current Alcohol certification and food handling certification prior to starting date.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
