Our bars include indoor and outdoor dog-friendly spaces so loving dogs is a MUST. Our ideal candidate should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable, with the experience necessary to guide the other bartenders in our team. This is a full time position, with pay starting at $18/hr.

Lead Bartender Responsibilities:

Leading and supporting our bartenders during their shifts, ensuring smooth operations, monitoring workflow, and providing/supporting excellent customer service; open and close the bar and take the lead throughout each shift Acting as a point of contact for any issues during shifts; handling guest complaints or difficult situations with professionalism and communicating issues or concerns to the area manager Contributing/assisting with scheduling and ordering Assisting in the management of parties and events Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders. Treating all guests—patron and pups alike—with dignity and respect in all interactions. Informing customers about new beverages and specials. Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers. Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register. Maintaining a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment; making sure bar and dog yards meet the highest standards for sanitation and safety

Requirements:

High school diploma. Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required. Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance. Basic math and computer skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong task and time management abilities. Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques. Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
