Mixologist Mr. Charles Chicken & Fish-Uptown 413 Dalton Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28206 Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mixologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent service, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately using a POS system, ensuring proper accounting of all sales. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for restocking to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or a related role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, fine dining service standards, and retail math skills. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly manner. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
