Mixologist/Bartender Mr. Charles Chicken & Fish-Uptown 413 Dalton Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28206 Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist, with minimum 3 years experience in restaurant bar environments to join our dynamic team. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your creativity and knowledge of mixology will play a key role in enhancing our guests’ experience, ensuring they enjoy their time at our establishment. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks. Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction with their drinks. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquets or special events to create signature drinks that complement the menu. Stay updated on industry trends and new cocktail recipes to continuously enhance the drink menu. Requirements Previous experience in bartending or mixology is required Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems. Basic math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and handling transactions. Knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
