The Server Assistant supports the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable dining experience for guests. This role is responsible for maintaining clean and organized dining and service areas, assisting servers/bartenders with food and beverage delivery, and supporting overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner as they are seated. Assist servers/bartenders by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately. Clear and reset tables efficiently between courses and after guests depart. Refill water glasses and attend to guest needs throughout the meal. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Maintain adequate stock of server station supplies (e.g., napkins, silverware, condiments). Support bussing and sanitation efforts in compliance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure timely service. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed. Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest requests or concerns promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
