Yama Loso || Server/Bartender Yama Loso 3535 Dewitt Lane, Charlotte, NC 28217 YAMA at LoSo is a premier, upscale casual Japanese restaurant in the new, up and coming Lower Southend area. We focus on traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern twist. We are looking to build a team that consists of individuals who are friendly, energetic, and ambitious for the server position. You must have a positive attitude and work well in fast-paced environments. We offer flexible scheduling for both part-time and full-time work. Responsibilities Greet and serve customers promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take and process orders accurately using POS systems, such as Toast. Prepare and serve food and beverages while adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash register transactions and maintain accurate financial records. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any guest inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar areas. Qualifications Proven experience in food service roles Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Proficiency in POS systems, particularly Toast Knowledge of food safety and handling practices Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience in fine dining and culinary settings is a plus Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
