Woodlake Country Club, located in Vass, North Carolina, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Pool Bartenders. Woodlake Country Club is a gated community located on the outskirts of North Carolina’s most well-known and sought after districts, including the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base, and Fayetteville areas. Despite its close proximity to nearby city life, residents and passersby prefer to indulge in the laid back atmosphere and unique amenities that Woodlake has to offer. With gorgeous views of the property’s 1,200 acre private lake, a charming historical clubhouse, and two championship golf courses, Woodlake Country Club has been the best kept secret of the North Carolina Sandhills for more than 54 years. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age. This position will work holidays and weekends. Pay is $12 per hour plus gratuities. Responsibilities of the Pool Bartender at Woodlake Country Club include: Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available. Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared. Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered. Presents menus, answer questions, and makes menu recommendations Utilizes the point of sales system and places orders with the kitchen. Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur. Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment. Maintains daily inventory and records. Checks identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Required Skills Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (May vary by state) Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol.
