Resort Restaurant Server/Bartender Shell Island Resort 2700 North Lumina Avenue, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 Restaurant Server/Bartender Basic Function To ensure that all guests have an enjoyable experience while providing high quality customer service. Responsibilities 1) Must adhere to Shell Island Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures 2) Provide great customer service 3) Clean tables and floors in dining area 4) Count cash and make change in a fast-paced environment 5) Polishing and rolling silverware 6) Greeting customers 7) Working with FOH and BOH staff to ensure food and drinks are delivered in a timely manner 8) Perform other departmental tasks as needed 9) Position includes weekends and holidays 10) Bartending Physical Job requires standing and walking for up to 8 hours at a time, as well as bending, reaching, stooping and other repetitive motions throughout shift. Ability to carry large serving trays weighing up to 40 lbs. and capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 35 lbs. as needed. Skills Must have good personality and exceptional work ethic Experience 18 years or older, one year serving experience preferred. All training will be completed on-site.
