The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed. Operate the POS system efficiently for processing orders and handling cash transactions. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and address any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods or catering events. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards. Qualifications Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is advantageous. Strong knowledge of retail math for managing cash handling effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Understanding of food safety practices within the hospitality industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
