Golf Pro Shop Assistant/Pool Snack Bar Assistance Coharie Country Club 101 Coharie Lane, Clinton, NC 28328 Job Summary We are seeking responsible and dependable staff to serve as a retail assistance in our Golf Pro Shop and/or Pool Snack Bar. The ideal candidate must be flexible and have experience in running a register, customer service, multi-taking. This position could also be cross trained for both bartending and preparing and serving food and must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks will be crucial in ensuring a smooth operation during busy hours.

Responsibilities:

• Assist members and other as they check in to play golf, purchase items from the Pro Shop, call for tee times, etc
• Take order, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food items to members at the pool (seasonal)
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
• Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure all areas are covered and members and customers are served
• Assist with catering events and banquets as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a retail associate, bartender, kitchen assistant or in a similar role in the hospitality industry
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
• Must be at least 21 years old for bartending duties
• Familiarity with food handling regulations
