10:30 AM

• 5 PM, 5 PM
• 2 AM (variable)
• Summer is our slower season, however we are hiring now to prepare for hockey season, which heats up in October— and so does the bar. We’re hiring part-time now so new staff have time to get comfortable, trained, and ready before the season kicks off
• Starts at 1-2 shifts per week for summer; Additional shifts may be offered based on performance, reliability, and team needs.
• Bar closes no later than 2 AM; shift ends after closing duties are complete

At Center Ice Tavern , we’re a fast-paced, customer-focused hockey bar serving strong drinks, cold beer, and great food to a lively crowd. Our regulars include in-house QCR hockey teams, tournament players and their families, and adult league players and fans—so expect high energy and packed nights during the season. Responsibilities Serve beer (12 taps, bottles & cans), wine, and mixed drinks with confidence and speed Manage tabs, take food orders, and keep the entire bar area running smoothly Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized in line with ABC guidelines Provide excellent service with an upbeat attitude Handle high-volume crowds, especially during tournaments and games Work well with a small, tight-knit team under pressure

Qualifications Note:

Open evening and weekend availability required At least 1 year of bartending experience Minimum 3 years in the service industry (server, bar-back, etc) Experience using POS systems— Toast experience is a plus Strong customer service and bartending skills Knowledge of food safety and handling practices Efficient, organized, and confident in promoting sales. Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
