Full Job Description Summary:

At Peregrine, our bar is an extension of our kitchen—intentional, seasonal, and driven by hospitality. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages that reflect our culinary ethos while creating an engaging and elevated guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft cocktails, pour wine and beer, and serve non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all beverage offerings, including cocktail components, wine list, and spirits
• Deliver exceptional service by anticipating guest needs, reading the room, and working closely with FOH and BOH teams
• Ensure bar mise en place is complete: garnishes prepped, syrups stocked, juices fresh, glassware polished, and bar clean and organized
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and use POS system with accuracy
• Monitor guest consumption and comply with all alcohol service laws and safety protocols
• Assist with bar prep and closing duties, including inventory, cleaning, and restocking
• Act as a brand ambassador of the restaurant’s beverage program and hospitality philosophy

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-end or chef-driven environment
• Strong cocktail technique and familiarity with classic and modern recipes
• Wine and spirits knowledge; WSET or bar certification is a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
