Bartender/Server 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 140 Ramblestone Terrace, Boone, NC 28607 Blue Ridge Mountain Club, a beautiful private mountain community in Boone, NC is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced bartender/server to provide an excellent guest experience. Compensation includes base rate of $17.00-19.00 and tips. This is a seasonal position with the potential for regular employment. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Full time or part time employment receives a $50 per month gas stipend. Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests.
• Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
• Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting patrons to return.
• Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons. Skills
• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/server
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• General math skills
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate $17-19$ an hour based on experience.

We have a service charge in lieu of tips at Blue Ridge Mountain Club which allows us to pay a higher hourly wage. Patrons may choose to tip as they wish, and tips will be added to a tip pool and distributed evenly amongst the waitstaff who worked during that shift.
