Bartender O Steak & Seafood 62 Doris Ray Court, Laconia, NH 03246 Overview Come join our team! We are a very busy casual/fine dining restaurant in the heart of the lakes region. We take a lot of pride in the food we serve and the hospitality we provide. We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our team as we head into the busy season. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and manage cash register transactions. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service. Assist in setting up for events or banquets as required, including preparing drink stations. Skills Proven experience in bartending or related roles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes accurately. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods. Sales skills to promote menu items and enhance guest experiences.
