Bartender/Dishwasher Saka Sushi Hibachi Restaurant Keene, NH 03431 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to keep dining areas tidy. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Support catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to help others as needed in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
