Overview:

We are seeking to hire a Bartender is to provide guest enthusiasm, manage the operations of the designated bar area, prepare classic and innovative drinks, support the servers to fulfill beverage needs, exceed guests needs and expectations and build and maintain the prestige of the restaurant. We are seeking an energetic and skilled individual to join our team at Codex. As a member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our patrons. • Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, beer, and wine. As a craft cocktail bar you need to create new and innovative drinks and mocktails.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area and surrounding tables
• Operate a cash register and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Work effectively in a team environment and provide support to other staff members as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints promptly and professionally
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

• Requirements:

• Experience in a food service environment, with strong experience as a bartender
• Knowledge of basic math and retail math concepts
• Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Experience with a point-of-sale (POS) system
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends
