Bartender/Server Fig Leaf LLC 55 Crystal Avenue, Derry, NH 03038 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your expertise in food handling and cash handling will contribute to the overall success of our bar operations. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, and restocking supplies as needed. Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and cash handling efficiently. Assist with catering events and banquets as required, ensuring timely service and adherence to quality standards. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all safety regulations regarding food handling. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Stay updated on beverage trends, menu offerings, and promotions to enhance guest experience. Qualifications Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests. Proficiency in cash handling procedures and experience operating cash registers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting. Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations; certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus.
