Bartender/Server (part-time) The Governor’s Inn Rochester, NH 03867 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering when necessary. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests. Requirements Proven experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service policies. Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience with brewing techniques is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
