Job Details Position Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar program and serve as a key player in our bar and beverage team. This is a leadership role that requires creativity, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to hospitality. The ideal candidate is as skilled with a jigger as they are with guest engagement and team mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
Bar Leadership:
Oversee all aspects of the bar during service; set the tone for hospitality, energy, and professionalism behind the bar.
Beverage Program Execution:
Ensure all cocktails and drinks are made with precision and consistency; uphold recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
Training & Team Development:
Train and mentor bar staff on technique, product knowledge, and guest engagement; lead by example with service and attitude.
Inventory & Ordering:
Assist with or manage liquor, wine, and beer inventory; work with management to forecast needs and control costs.
Guest Experience:
Engage guests with warmth, efficiency, and expertise; build regulars and provide thoughtful recommendations across both food and beverage.
Compliance & Cleanliness:
Ensure the bar meets all health, safety, and sanitation standards; uphold all alcohol service laws and best practices.
Qualifications:
3+ years of bartending experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or head bartender role Deep knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine Strong leadership and communication skills Experience with high-volume service and fast-paced environments Familiarity with POS systems (Toast preferred) Must be punctual, organized, and service-oriented Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Compensation Details Compensation:
Hourly ($5.62 – $10.00) plus tips
