BARTENDER FOR COCKTAIL BAR

OUR COCKTAIL BAR AT CITY DINER
is looking for an energetic & animated BAR Superstar to craft and mix fresh cocktails. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable. You will be responsible for providing customers with an exceptional and memorable dining experience.
BARTENDERS
Essential Responsibilities :
All actions must be taken with the guests’ best interest in mind so as to continue to build new business and exceed customer expectations Coach servers and answer all bar drink related questions Work as a team with the other bartenders, staff and management Keep bar and bar area spotless and polished daily Prepare drinks consistently and according to recipe guidebook Perform additional tasks at the direction of management Serve food Control all pours using jiggers and carafes Monitor and stock bar levels Assist inventories Complete daily and weekly side-work
Shifts Available:
3PM – 12AM Shift times will change when the store hours change as we move into the spring and summer and as we add happy hour events to the restaurant.
Qualified Candidates will be:
Joyful, outgoing, guest-centric individuals who have a passion for great food, great beer & wine, and fresh made cocktails, served with care and consistency Team players with a strong ethic and dedicated to the hospitality craft Responsible and timely, willing to take direction Qualified Candidates will have: Open availability At least 2 years of prior experience as a bartender in a well-rated restaurant or bar Personable and professional demeanor Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with peers and guests The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure A strong understanding of wine varietals, craft beer and craft cocktails A strong understanding and use of bitters Ability to craft and prep house made syrups, dry fruits and garnishes
