Bartender Gambler’s Bar & Grill 121 Burlington Path Rd, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring all payments are processed efficiently. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary, ensuring timely delivery of orders. Experience Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Familiarity with hospitality principles and practices is beneficial to enhance guest interactions. Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is an advantage. Strong time management skills are necessary to efficiently manage multiple orders during busy periods. Previous experience in food service can enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
