Lead Bartender Olde Silver Tavern 149 Freehold Road, Manalapan, NJ 07726 We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Bartender to oversee daily bar operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep knowledge of mixology, and the ability to maintain a well-organized, efficient, and welcoming bar environment. This is a salaried position with additional tip compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management Assist in creating and maintaining weekly bartender schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours Supervise and support bartending staff during shifts, setting a high standard for professionalism and service Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture behind the bar Provide training and mentorship for new and existing bartenders Bar Operations Oversee the setup, breakdown, and cleanliness of the bar area Ensure all bartenders adhere to recipes, portion standards, and cleanliness protocols Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and stocking of bar supplies Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations Mixology & Beverage Program Aid in developing and updating seasonal cocktail menus and signature drinks Stay up to date with industry trends and introduce innovative cocktail ideas Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all drinks served Customer Service Deliver outstanding guest service with a warm and professional demeanor Address customer concerns or complaints with urgency and care Lead by example in creating a lively, welcoming bar atmosphere Administrative Duties Collaborate with management on performance reviews, team goals, and operational improvements Maintain accurate records of breakage, spoilage, and inventory discrepancies Assist in organizing bar events, promotions, and tastings

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bartender, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Deep understanding of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and team leadership abilities Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
