Seasonal Bartender The Pool at The St. Laurent Asbury Park, NJ 07712 The team at Judy & Harry’s restaurant is seeking qualified, passionate bartenders to join our dining room team for the season. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers or Aloha POS systems. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Assist in catering events or banquets as needed, providing excellent hospitality to guests. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere. Proficient in math for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with cash registers or Aloha POS systems. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of guests. Previous experience in fine dining or banquet settings is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal, to engage effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
