Bartender Rowan’s Bar and Grill 66 Central Street, Moravia, NY 13118 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. Candidates must have at least one year of Bartending experience. Be able to make many types of cocktails, be comfortable in a high paced setting, have fairly open availability, reliable transportation and most importantly a team player. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Operate cash registers, process payments, and manage tabs efficiently. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and catering events when necessary. Stay updated on current trends in mixology and beverage offerings to enhance the guest experience. Requirements Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and alcohol regulations. Proficiency in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems, such as Toast POS. Excellent math skills for handling transactions accurately. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service. Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
