Bartender Position Available In Essex, New York

Bartender NewVida Preserve Wilmington, NY 12997 We are seeking an experienced bartender / mixologist to be part of a dynamic and talented team at NewVida Preserve (www.newvidapreserve.com). Our restaurant and bar are open 5 nights / week (5-10pm), profitable and growing, and serves one of the most diverse and globally inspired menus in the Adirondacks. The bar itself is stunning, situated in the lodge’s main A-frame with soaring 90ft ceilings, Whiteface views, and lined with vintage skis from the property to celebrate its history as the former Paleface ski mountain. The bar hosts live music on Fridays/Saturdays, a special menu community night on Wednesday and a “gastrolab” tasting night on Thursdays. We have an incredible new Executive Chef, Vicky Breyette, leading the culinary program. You’d be joining a team that is passionate, creative, collaborative and calm under pressure. Bartenders must have at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant setting, are great with customers and are available to work at least 2 shifts / week.

Responsibilities include:

Concepting creative new cocktails Preparing the bar for service Bartending for both the bar and restaurant Post-shift work: preparation for next day of service

Qualifications:

Creative and enjoys composing new cocktails Proven bar experience in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Square Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure Employees and their spouses get to access the services at NewVida, including wellness, trails and the gym for free!
