Job Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Barback to join our team at Carmella’s Wine Bar. As a Barback, you will support our bartenders and ensure the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. Your role is integral to maintaining a high standard of service and creating a positive experience for our guests.

Pay:

$10.35 – $15.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including glassware, liquor, mixers, and garnishes. Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times. Collect and wash used glassware, ensuring a steady supply is available for service. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries Help with the preparation of garnishes and other bar essentials as needed. Support bartenders during busy periods by helping to expedite drink orders. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your knowledge of bar operations and hospitality.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred, but not required. Strong work ethic and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and a desire to learn and grow in the industry. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to support and collaborate effectively with team members. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
