Barback and Bartender Mulconrys Irish Pub Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the hospitality industry and are eager to learn the ins and outs of bartending while providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other essential items. Help with food preparation as needed during busy shifts or special events such as banquets. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak hours in nightclubs or busy bars. A willingness to learn bartending skills and techniques is essential. Must be able to clean efficiently and maintain a tidy work environment at all times. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
