Bartender W/experience Backyard Barbeque 300 Woodcleft Avenue, Freeport, NY 11520 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and making recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Adhere to food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure compliance with health standards. Assist in catering events or banquets as required, providing exemplary service to guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks during busy periods. Experience Previous bartending experience is preferred; experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and beverage presentation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a friendly manner. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems. Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
