Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling practices. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary, enhancing the overall dining experience. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Requirements Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in a high-volume setting. Strong knowledge of food service practices and food handling regulations. Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and drink measurements. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer interaction and sales techniques. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment’s schedule.
