⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Experienced Bartender/Waiter (Farmingdale) The Barnyard Main St near Conklin compensation: $18-20 employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Bartender/Waiter The Barnyard is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled part-time bartender to join our dynamic front of the house team. As a bartender/waiter, you will be responsible for delivering quality service while mixing, serving and presenting beverages in a high-energy environment. You will play a key role in maintaining the Barnyard’s representation of 5-star customer service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Take orders, offer drink recommendations, and ensure high standard of customer service.
• Maintain knowledge of the drink menu and daily specials or promotions
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of bar area, including restocking supplies and maintaining equipment.
• Provide guests with a welcoming, friendly, and memorable experience.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions, processing payments accurately and following protocols.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper food handling and alcohol regulations.
• Collaborate with fellow team members, including fellow bartenders/waiters to maintain smooth and efficient dining service during busy hours.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including setting up the bar and cleaning up after shifts.

Qualifications:

• Prior bartending experience is required.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails and drink preparation methods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
• Weekend and evening availability is required
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.

Shift:

• Weekday shift
• Weekday Evening shift
• Brunch shift
• Sunday evening shift Principals only.
