Server/Bartender Bia restaurant & Bar New Hyde Park, NY 11040 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a flair for crafting delicious beverages in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender/erver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring that all drinks are prepared accurately and efficiently. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will enhance the overall experience of our patrons. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and handling cash accurately. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their orders. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods effectively. Qualifications Previous experience as a Bartender/Server in Full restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation. Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and drink measurements. Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Familiarity with cash register operations and food service protocols. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
