Barback Position Available In New York, New York

Barback JF Restaurants at the Wall Street Hotel New York, NY JF Restaurants is looking for an experienced Part-Time Barback to work in the F&B outlets at the Wall Street Hotel . As a Barback, you are responsible for helping Bartenders keep the bar clean and organized by bussing bar areas, keeping glasses and other bar equipment clean, product well-stocked and maintain storage areas.

Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and the entire venue. Possesses general knowledge of all food and beverage menus, and company policies & procedures. Assist service team with beverage and food service Ensure cleanliness and organization of all back-of-house storage areas and refrigeration units according to company standards. Responsible for keeping all liquor displays and shelving organized and maintaining par levels Properly sets-up the bar stations, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management Prepare necessary garnishes, syrups, juices, and/or batches Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business needs Complete all assigned side work as assigned by

Management Requirements:

Passion for cocktails and understanding of different ingredients Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment Knowledge of menu and operations Great customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment and ability to multi-task and work under pressure while still being detail oriented and personable Good organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail Ability to read, write and speak proficient English Must have open availability John Fraser Restaurants is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
