The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. This position involves maintaining cleanliness, assisting with inventory, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience. Duties Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Buss tables and remove empty glasses and bottles promptly. Stock and organize bar supplies, including liquor, garnishes, and glassware. Help with food service as needed, ensuring timely delivery to guests. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure seamless service. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in cleaning, bussing, or catering is a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
