Bartender/Server House Of Hookah` 3907 Bell Blvd, Bayside, NY 11361 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction. Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Participate in promotional events or catering services as required. Qualifications Previous experience in bartending or related roles within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math skills for accurate transaction processing. Strong communication skills; ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. Food handling certification is a plus; knowledge of catering services is beneficial.
