Bartender/Server Tarassas Italian American 5055 Western Turnpike, Duanesburg, NY 12056 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Assist with banquet services as required, ensuring timely and efficient beverage service during events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations in accordance with local laws and company policies. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining establishments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices. Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with POS systems is preferred. Knowledge of various drink recipes, cocktail preparation techniques, and bar equipment usage. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
