Bartender Lucharitos 177 Main Street, Center Moriches, NY 11934 Job Summary Lucharitos in Center Moriches is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Monitor customer consumption levels to ensure responsible serving practices are maintained. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and specials to effectively promote offerings to guests. Skills Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems (Aloha POS experience is a plus). Strong knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management. Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly. Familiarity with brewing techniques and various beverage types is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances the overall guest experience.
