Bartender / Server The Green Growler 4 Croton Point Avenue, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520 Bartender/Server The Green Growler, Croton-on-Hudson, NY Part-Time The Green Growler, Croton-on-Hudson, a Craft Beer Taproom & Bottle Shop is looking for a Bartender/Server, part-time, 10-20 hours per week. Responsibilities include tending bar, selling beer to go, light food preparation, table running, clean up and cashier work. A solid knowledge of craft beer and a proactive approach to learn more is required for the right candidate.

PLEASE NOTE

This position is NOT a seasonal job, we are looking for someone who is able to start as a part-time worker with further flexibility to take on other shifts.

Qualifications:

Prior bar or food-service experience required – MINIMUM 3 YEARS Ability to work weekends, flexibility for weekday/night shifts Must be able to multi-task Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Sets up bar; Maintains stock of all beer, wine, paper products, glassware and ice. Prepares and stores all food and other perishables to ensure product quality. Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner. Takes and/or processes orders for drinks and presents drinks using prudent portion control. Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items. Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized. Must be able to lift & move items/products of up to 50lbs at a time. Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area. Washes and sterilizes glassware and countertops. Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary:

Hourly wage commensurate with experience, plus tips.
